Spring Garden Acre is a blog about our family's gardening adventures. We call our place Spring Garden Acre, because we live on Spring Road with about an acre. We're located in zone 6b of south central PA. We grow peaches, berries, vegetables and keep a few chickens for eggs and meat.

Early Spring Garden
Last Friday I planted romaine, kale, onions and cabbage. Its to early but they were becoming root bound inside. They've seen some frost. The cabbage and kale are not doing well, but the romaine and onions are fine. Tomorrow night it's supposed to drop to 20 degrees. So I covered everything. Now we'll wait it out and hope for the best.
