Thursday's Kitchen Cupboard is hosted by
Robin at The Gardener of Eden. It's a time for gardeners to share what great things they are doing with their garden harvests. Whether it's preparing for storage or cooking for meals, great recipes and new ideas can always be found here!
For this week Belle made fried chicken from last falls flock of meats, with potatoes and gravy from the stock and beet greens from the cold frame with balsamic vinegar. It was fabulous! Delicious! Wonderful! You'd think that her southern heritage would have led her to make this dish years ago. Her mom makes it and her sister too, but Belle's been reticent about trying it! Well, the wait was worth it. She hit a home run tonight. We heard not a single complaint from the kid's corner for the entire meal!
