Spring Garden Acre is a blog about our family's gardening adventures. We call our place Spring Garden Acre, because we live on Spring Road with about an acre. We're located in zone 6b of south central PA. We grow peaches, berries, vegetables and keep a few chickens for eggs and meat.

Something instead of Nothing
On days when I can't get outside because of work, or weather or whatever, I try to do something, anything in the garden. Tonight after the kids went to bed, I went out to to say hi to the girls, gather their eggs and repair the fence around the garden. It was something instead of nothing and made for a nice close of the evening.

I know the feeling! I've had to stay in nursing this cold and it's been hard not being able to get outside and do something!
