ReplyDeleteLooks like you had a pretty good harvest of cabbage and brocolli :o) I'm having company tomorrow, but the next day I need to get my brocolli and cabbage up and take a look at my Rutabaga..just been busy with Holiday.
ReplyDeleteThat is pretty amazing that you can push the growing season until the end of December.
ReplyDeleteI'm so jealous of that broccoli--I'd love to steal that!

Although the cabbage is small, it's a great December harvest for sure!
ReplyDeleteI really need to get out there and do some harvesting from the cold frames.
Cabbage is tasty - big or small! The broccoli side shoots are wonderful. Our broccoli is long done for the season and I am missing it tremendously.
ReplyDeleteMrs. Pickles, thanks, it's been a learning experience.
ReplyDeleteGinny, be sure to post about your cabbage and broccoli. I would really enjoy reading about that harvest.
Grafixmuse, hoop houses would make all the difference I think.
Sue, We cherished every tiny shoot!
Robin, thanks, we'll see what next year brings!
KitsapFG, The cabbage and broccoli was very tasty. I was sad to finally pull it up. Now we only have garlic, some carrots and a couple of leeks left in the ground for the rest of the year.
Wonderful harvest! Your cabbage may have had some itty bitty heads, but the rest look fantastic! Congrats!
ReplyDeleteThanks Bee Girl. We'll get a couple of meals out of it at least.
ReplyDeleteLook yummy!
