Winter Garlic Sprouts

I was playing in the snow with the boys this morning and saw the garlic sprouts poking out of the snow... an encouraging sign of spring!

    1. It won't be long now. Our plan is to begin planting brassicas in mid to late March.

  3. Pretty. Right now my garlic sprouts are smaller than yours and we have no snow on them right now. I hope it stays that way.

    1. Yea, I'm a little worried they are growing too fast. Maybe it's a little warmer here. That may account for the difference. I hope it stays a little warmer. We certainly don't want those shoots to be frost bitten!

  4. How ironic! Looks like your garlic is off to some great growth. Our garden is still under about a foot of snow.

    1. Hmmm. It's strange you didn't get snow. We didn't get near what was predicted. I look forward to seeing some pictures of the plots. We would love to visit them again this summer!
