Where's the eggs? A couple weeks ago Cracker (not pictured) stopped laying eggs. We wondered, is she sick? Is she molting? Are the other birds stressing her? What's going on? Then everything went back to normal and we forgot about it.
Yesterday, I went out to do some much needed weeding, and the mystery was solved. Cracker had scratched out a secret spot behind the compost bins next to the garden fence. We found an entire weeks worth of old eggs lying there.
