Cauliflower Harvest
Today we harvested 4 lovely cauliflower heads. I can't wait to see what Bel comes up with for dinner. Sometimes she blends it into mashed potatoes to add texture and flavor... Mmmm. We have several plants without heads still. I don't know if it will be to warm to get anything from them or not.

Beautiful heads of Califlower, whatever she makes I'm sure it will be tasty.:o)
ReplyDeleteMy goodness, I can't believe that you have cauliflower! It's beautiful! My plants are no where near ready to form heads. I hope it doesn't get too hot for the plants.
ReplyDeleteGinny, thanks from Bel for the compliment. You're absolutely right, and I'm the better man for it!
ReplyDeleteRobin, we planted seeds in the last week of January, and then outside in the first week of April. They saw plenty of freezing weather but survived. If we keep having warm weather like today the other 10 or so plants without heads aren't going to produce anything.
You guys are hauling it in man. I'm so jealous.
ReplyDeleteHi Joel, thanks for posting. Yea, it's that time of year. You should see some of the other avid gardeners I follow. They're harvesting 4 and 5 hundred pounds a year!
ReplyDeletePretty white heads. You are making me crave for cauliflowers and ours are just seedlings. We freeze some last year but it finished so quickly.
