We harvested the peaches last summer. Then in the winter we racked, re-racked and re-racked the wine again. In the spring we bottled it, and in the fall, on Thanksgiving Day we'll get together and pop our first cork. I guess it takes every season of the year to make a good bottle of wine.

If you need any help drinking it. Just saying, I am always willing to lend a hand;)
ReplyDeleteMe too!! Sounds yummy!
ReplyDeleteHi Jane and Robin, I can't say we really need help, but we're definitely eager to share the fun. Heck, we'll give away more than we drink, just because we're so happy to have made a good batch!
ReplyDeleteHow fun to make peach wine from your own tree. A nice tradition for your beautiful family.
ReplyDeleteThank you Malay-Kadazan. We do really enjoy it.
ReplyDeleteWe cracked a bottle last night. We just couldn't wait. It was delicious! It has a sweet peach bouquet. While it is technically dry the taste is very fruity, peachy sweet. Mmmm.
